e Computer Center / Building / Computer room is my playground. I keep my nose in everyone's projects and assist them in their goals. Prevent clashes, promote cooperation, diagnose problems, find solutions, write and supervise contracts, useless err productive err endless meetings, roll up the Shirt Sleeves and get-it-done. It takes an old Geek to keep the playground working smooth. Military Enlisted because the Navy offered the best deal to get into the computer/IT field. Five years (and 3 weeks - they lost my separation urinalis and would not let me out). After bootcamp and computer school, I spent all my time in Washington DC playing and learning the business. Five weeks off and I was back in the same computer center as a Civilian (same job, no uniform). Never on a ship, never saw the world, too busy learning my profession.
