Karan's Story
Life I am a Speech Therapist and also teach a Special Day Class with children with special needs. The types of children I work with include autistic, down syndrome, and other disABILITIES. I live and work in the San Jose area. I was married for awhile and he unfortunately didn't want children; thought I could change him (but we learn, huh?). Soon after we parted, it seems my life became one of caring for my family.
Like with us all, there have been ups and downs in my life. A divorce, caretaking of those in my family who needed my help. My mom passed away too long ago, 1984, my dad in 1998 ...Expand for more
and my brother Michael in 2003. Michael was a 1965 graduate of MDHS. I took care of my dad and also took care of my brother Michael for many years before his passing. When he passed, I thought it was time to move from my home, in which he lived with me, so sold that one and started again in new (to me) home in Milpitas.
As some of you may know, I along with Pam Millhollan and Tim Barnes have been meeting about a reunion. We have set the month for September with more details to follow. I'd love to talk with anyone who would like to email me or call me. My home number is 408 934-1514.
