Karen's Story
Life
Hi there, former Chieftains! This is my bio, second edition. You might have missed the first edition, but I wonder now--how come I am one of the only ones to write a biography? Anyway, for this edition, I am going to use a different format:
Married? Yes, 33 years to my boyfriend in high school, John Wulf.
Kids? Many. Well, five-Matt(32),
Terra(30), Abby(28), Gab(27), and finally, Joey (25).
We live in Vancouver still, two houses down from where I grew up--yes, we are really stable, and yes, it is sort of depressing, though to offset things a little, John and I traveled around Europe for a month.
I got to stay home with our kids, and am now at a change point since they are all grown ...Expand for more
now.
We have four grandbabies so far, the oldest being six. We anticipate a bunch more, as only two of our kids are married so far. Grandbabies are the best-it is such a different kind of love, somehow, than what it was like with our own kids.
Biggest impacting factor so far--my husband and I became born again Christians about 29 years ago--huge change for both of us.
Goals: personal growth, find a rewarding and meaningful career that affords me flexibility and worthwhile wage, more travel, both inside and outside the US--our kids have traveled abroad, and it can be life changing. I want to visit Israel, and would like to re-do our travel effort in Italy, as our experience there was nuts.
