Karen Auclair:  

I left Hamilton a few years after high school, got married and became Karen Dempsey for awhile, eventually graduated from San Jose State University in California and law school at the University of Miami. I was fortunate to be able to pursue my love of acting for a while in the 80s and 90s via "extra" work in tv and movies, and - my personal favorite - the stage, where I met my 2nd (& hopefully last!) husband. We currently live in Fort Lauderdale with our two mischievous and goofy labs, and plan to move back out west in the next few years. Our current passion is cowboy action shooting. We do competitions all over the country and have a side business selling period western clothing and leather. Life is good! I look forward to seeing old friends at the reunions! Okay....answers to the "Classmates" questions: I always wanted to be an actress when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. My favorite way to blow off steam is to sing and dance - just to remind myself from time to time that I still can! The one person from my past whom I'd most like to see again is my dad, because I talked to him everyday for years, yet we still have so much to talk about. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my kitchen and add on a game room. My dream home would be enormous!. The teacher I would love to see again would be Ms. Jarvis, my drama teacher, so I could tell her how much she taught me, how it stayed with me all these years and how I thoroughly enjoyed being in her classes and spending time around her. She was a most positive influence on me and made me think anything was possible. If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to animal charities, then spend the rest on family, investments and freedom!.
