Karen's Story
Life
I have two kids....Pam 26, Matt 21. I have two grandkids by my daughter Pam....Jacob is 6 and Brodie is almost a year old! I am divorced. I raise rabbits for kids who have 4-H and FFA projects and serve as a 4-H leader and chair of the local county fair rabbit committee. So I enjoy working with the youth. I also show rabbits occasionally in the Open division around the State. I enjoy outside activities and watching all the wildlife. I enjoy taking pictures as well. My sidekick is my 2 year old dog, Sassy who is a bassett hound/daschand mix. She is so spoiled rotten. She thinks (and does) she has to go everywhere and do everything I do!
School

ver a dull moment! High school was the best time in my life...........not as stressful as I thought cause now I know what real stress is. I always chose to have a steady beau.....amongst those were Ken Barnard and Bobby Purcell. I miss my dearest friends who I grew up in Garfield, but I still see them occasionally like Blaine and Little John. Many fun times. I am looking forward to our next reunion!
College
I got married, had the kids and then went back to college. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in the summer of 2002 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.
Workplace
I have worked for the State about 26 years with the last 15 years being at Sam Houston State University, College of Criminal Justice. I work for the Associate Dean. It is very challenging and I enjoy my work.
