Karen's Story
Portland is still my home, although with all the rain we've had I wonder how much longer I can stay here! I have spent the last twenty years here fixing up and restoring old homes and have also been doing real estate appraisal work. When I am not busy doing that, I help my husband Ron who sells real estate for John L. Scott. I currently live in Eastmoreland in an old brick home near the Eastmoreland Golf Course. We have no children, so when we are not working we spend our time traveling and visiting beautiful places.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Eden Colhouer, because She was my best friend. I feel like I lost part of my youth when she died.
I enjoy gardening, landscaping, hikes, and the outdoors. Of course, the occasional margarita is always nice too!

ude; "Curb your Enthusiasm", "Mad Men", "Nurse Jackie", and "Dexter". I must confess, I am also a CNBC, CNN, and Bloomberg News junkie.
I love my cats. I have gotten both of them from rescue shelters and encourage others to do the same. The rescue animals make wonderful loving pets.
If I won $100 million, I'd give a portion of it to the humane society and education for disadvantaged youth, then spend the rest on travelling, family and investments.
My best friend would tell you I'm funny, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as shy.
In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by investing & working, and with this economy, praying we don't go into a depression!.
Right now, my hero is anyone that can fix the oil spill in the Gulf and help fix the damage it has caused.
