Shortly after graduating I left Southern California and moved to Carson City, Nevada (located just outside Lake Tahoe) where I worked for the State of Nevada. I transferred to the Las Vegas office but did not stay more than a couple years. During the next few years I took up residency in Shingle Springs, California then in Tucson, Arizona. For some reason I keep getting drawn back to the Northern Nevada area. It must be the surrounding areas that draw me back because as far as work opportunities go you may as well forget it and cost of living is, well lets put it, up there. I have worked a variety of jobs - from being a legal secretary for criminal law defenses to managing bars to construction. Presently I own a home in Nevada. No children of my own (have raised for a good portion of their lives my significant others children, who I might add have now proudly graced us with four grandchildren.
