Karen's Story
Life
Hey!! "Coop"/Karen here. My life has been full and happy.
Not surprising, we are in Salem. I married Bobby Ferguson, he
grew up at the Baptist Home. We have now been married for
28 years. We have one son, Patrick, he is 16 years old. Looks
like his dad. He goes to Glenvar High School, we live in the
county and I never would have admitted in " earlier" days that
I would be glad about him going to school there. I left work
in 2001 to apply for Social Security Disability. I was diagnosed
with Epilepsy in 1985, and worked for 20 yrs doing customer
service in office supplies. It became too difficult to continue
to drive and feel safe. My driving was neve...Expand for more

with, but I became a danger to everyone else on the road.
It was not an easy thing to do, but needed to be done.
I did get Disability in the Spring of 2002. Life changed, but
I have figured out that "different" has made me a better mom
and a stronger person.
We have a home on Wildwood Road, 3-1/2 acres. We have a
large garden (with a 10 ft fence around it), to keep the deer
from eating everything.
There are many more positive things than negative in my life.
So, anyone who wants can get in touch, please DO. I will do
my best to return information and hear what others have been
up to thru the years.
