Karen's Story
My husband, Michael, and I have been married 21 years. We have 2 kids: Macey, who is 13 and in the 8th grade and Mike who is 11 and in the 5th grade. We have lived in Round Rock for almost 10 years. I was a stay at home mom until I went back to work part time a year and a half ago. I work 20 hours a week for the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services as an inspector for Child Care Licensing. It is just enough to keep me out of trouble(most of the time!). the time, I play driver and cheerleader for my kids. Both are very involved in sports. Macey plays select volleyball and basketball and Mike plays football, lacrosse,and select basketball. We traveled a lot before the kids got so busy and one of favorite places in the world is Mont Tremblant in Canada. We are die hard University of Texas fans. We have season tickets for football and were in California at the Rose Bowl when UT beat USC for the National Championship! GO LONGHORNS!
