Karen's Story
Life
Since graduating from Redmond, I went onto Oregon State and graduated with my degree in Agriculture Economics and a minor in writing. After college, I landed my first job in Columbus, Ohio for the American Jersey Cattle Association. I now live in the quad cities area in East Moline, Illinois and work for Swiss Valley Farms Cooperative, a medium size milk cooperative in...Expand for more

In June 2003, I married the married the love of my life, Scott Bohnert from East Moline, Illinois. He is a great guy to say the least. He is a farmer in East Moline, milks 125 Jerseys and farms 600 acres of corn and beans.
In May 2004 we had our first child, a son, Tyler James.
