Karen's Story
After graduating HS, then college, I married and tried to get on Broadway as a gypsy (Dancer). My husband Steve and I performed in regional theatre in New York and Florida. It was fun, but too hard to make a living. Our sons came along so we settled down as a family . I was a stay-at-home mom on Long Island, but started working when we moved to Pennsylvania in 1988. I did return to ballet for a short period, but can't seem to find enough time for it. Our sons have married and given us many grandchildren to our delight! ept. 15, 1996 and baptized shortly after. We have been married 36 years and only that long because of our faith in Jesus. He's helped us endure many hardships over the years (as I'm sure you've all experienced). My husband is retired from Lucent Tech (formerly Western Electric) and I've been a dental office manager for 24 years and love it! I think of my many classmates from Ward Melville quite often. I made the 10, 20 and 25 year reunions, but haven't been able to make the later ones. Can you believe it's been 40 years?!! Let's hear from you all!
