Karen's Story
I married in 1976 and have 3 incrediblly successful children, and 5 beautiful and talented grandchildren. I continued my education and gained my L.P.N. in 1984. I worked at the Bath,NY, V.A. in nursing, but due to an injury, transferred to the Respiratory Dept. and was able to continue my education. I now have an M.S. in Nursing, as well as ,an M.S. in Pulmonology/ Respiratory Care Clinician.. My life has been full with many travels and adventures , too numerous to list here, and have been forever changed by it ...Expand for more
all. Due to complications from the earlier injury,et al, I have since retired from the VA. I now find myself widowed with time to paint, craft, travel, renovate my house, and devote myself to my Savior and church. Am I still singing? Of course! I was featured soloist for the V.A. National Choir in 1990 and 1991. I have performed at the National Church,DC., Constitution Hall,DC, and at the White House for Pres. and Mrs. George H. W. Bush. Now adays, I am grateful to share God's great message in song at church!
