I currently work at Nordstrom in Tacoma, but had a long career in the legal field and mutual fund compliance here in town. I'm very interested in the arts, but don't get involved as much as I used to or would like. I've recently been introduced to graffiti art and am learning an appreciation mostly for the artists and their motivation. Over the years I've been self-teaching myself home decoration/repair and am an avid HGTV fan. I've recently inherited an old mobile home and am trying to renovate and "contemporize" it... slow work! I love to read mysteries & biographies, do puzzles, play cards and boardgames. (My kids still have a hard time beating me at Boggle and the videogame Dr. Mario!) I think Jimmy Carter is one of our greatest American heros and that he and his wife are probably the best role models we could aspire to; however, that doesn't necessarily mean I'm a staunch Democrat!
