Karen Cook:  

Life After graduation from Rubidoux in 1970. I went to RCC for one year.During this time I worked at Riverside County Hospital as a nurse's aide. Got married in 1971 to Mike Cook who is a a Rubidoux graduate from 1969.Had a son in 1973. Stayed home with him until he went to kindergarden. Then I became a Teacher's aide. We moved to Las Vegas in 1979 for five years. I really missed family in Ca., so we moved back in 1984. I continued to work for the school district and also went to work for the County of San Bernardino, working with seniors in thier homes. Have continued to do this work until present time. I am semi retired now. My greatest joy in life is helping other's. I also belong to the American Legion and have been in the ladies Aux. for six years. I am marshal and asst. 2nd vice for ladies aux. I spend lots of hours with veteran friends and thier families. We have lots of fun.I have had a wonderful married life.
