Karen's Story
Life
I attended BMHS Annex in Connecticut for freshman year, then my family moved to Virginia and I attended Oakton H.S. I went on to attend Virgina Tech, graduating from there in 1987. I am interested in catching up with old friends! I live with my husband (married in Nov. of 1991), and have 2 children. I am mostly a stay at home mom, but do a bit of part time and volunteer work. I live in beautiful central Virginia, in the small town of Forest, located right between the Blue Ridge mountains and the James River. I would love to hear from my old classmates and friends!
College
Wow! Time flies! My college days were some of the best(and worst) of my life! Unfortunately, I have lost touch with a lot of old friends. My New Year...Expand for more
's Resolution is to reconnect! I am living in Central Virginia, in the Lynchburg area, and would love to hear from some long lost friends! I recently discovered an old friend who has been living within a few miles of me and we didn't even know it! So, I'd love to hear from you, especially if you live in this area!
Workplace
After graduating from Virginia Tech in 87, I worked at NutriSystem as a counselor, then moved into management and training. In 1992, they downsized. My next job was in Human Resources for an auto parts remanufacturer. I was responsible for hiring everyone from assembly line workers to upper level management. Now, I work just a few hours a month, do some volunteer work, and I consider myself a stay at home mom.
