Karen's Story
Life
Here's a little information about me. After high school I had my son,Reggie. I worked aa a secretary for about seven years at the Glenville Opportunity Center. I worked two years for Dr. Samuel Person, Podiatrist. In 1980 I started working for Penton Publishing(which is now Penton Media, Inc.) I worked there for 23 years. I've been married 3 times, adopted and lost two sons, and have been to prison.
Currently I'm employed at my church, Glenville New Life Community Church (711 East 105th St.), where I am assistant to one of our Co-Pastors. I edit our recorded services and prepare DVD's for the televised broadcast on the Public Access channel in Cleveland. tures that are read, announcements) for our Praise Team and congregation. I'm a part-time choir director of our Women's Choir, a Liturgical Dancer, and assist in our Prison Ministries.
I am interested in keeping touch with anyone who graduated with me in 1969, or who participated in Drama and/or Choir (under Mrs. Pierre-Louie) during 1967 thru 1969.
Update: I am now retired and still spend a lot of my time at church. I am still a Co-Choir Director for our Women's choir; Head of our Prison Ministry; Head of our Prayer Shawl Ministry (and I teach others how to crochet); teach a Bible study once a week; new Secretary of our Women's Guild; and a Ruling Elder. I am currently taking classes for Veterinary Assistant (always loved the animals).
