Karen's Story
After high school I worked at Mich.Bell telephone,ATT,Ameritech, for 26 years and worked for the company in Denver,Co and Chicago,Il. I also was married for 5 years and then divorced and am a mother of 1 son who is 18 yrs.old. I have done alot of traveling threw the years,probably my love of traveling started when we went on senior trip to the Bahamas it was so much fun. Turkey,Australia,Fiji, and many other places. My last 5 or so years have been tough. I was in and out of hospitals do to some surgery I had,which almost killed me. I ended up in nursing homes for 10 months it was a terrible time for my son and I. Things are good now i am back in Saginaw,I came back 8 years ago to take care of my parents they had alzheimers,they are both deceased now. Things are good now, I am retired now and just enjoying life
