Karen's Story
This isn't as easy as I thought it would be, usually, I am not at a loss for words...so let's do this backwards, shall we?
Okay, currently, I am living in Leesburg, FL, a moderate sized city about an hour North of Orlando, and I've lived here for almost 9 years. I came down here with my kids in 2000 when my Dad was sick with cancer and I never left. I've since lost both of my parents, but I just never seemed to find my way out of this lovely state!
I've been divorced since 1995, I have 2 children, Brenden Patrick (25), and Amanda (Kathleen)Marie (23), I have 3 dogs, 4 cats, 4 parrots and a horse. I am currently a cardiac nurse at a local hospital, I've been there for just over 4 years now...something I've always wanted to do, something I absolutely LOVE to do!!!! try to further my education, I've waited too long in this life to get to where I am, I'm not stopping now!!!
Currently, most of my time is spent working/school, paying bills, & taking care of my zoo. What free time I do have is spent with friends, going to the beach, snorkling, surfing the web, reading, and playing with my critters!
In May, I am traveling to Kansas City for my daughter Amanda's graduation from college, she is now a grade school teacher, and in June, I am going to spend 11 WONDERFUL days/nights in Ireland with my best friend, my sister Pat! This for us will be the trip of a life time!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!
