Karen's Story
Well,once graduation was over, I got married and moved to New Roads for almost 2 years and got pregnant then in May of 1980 there was a tornado and it destroyed our house and everything in it. Oh, and also, my husband and I split up shortly thereafter. So in July of that same year, my son was born, Michael David Dickinson. go. But before I did, a drunk driver thought he would drive himself and a buddy home from a day at the bar and may 2. 1997 was my daughter's last day on earth. So that's when I thought I would leave my very abusive husband and start off new so I met someone online who just happened to be from Utah and we met got to know each other and I went back to Utah with him and have been very happy since.
