Karen's Story
January 2008 -- where am I now? girls are both in school now so it's time to go back to work. I've missed working! Thinking of a change of career -- 24/7 on call and looking at a computer screen is not sounding fun. Not when I need energy to deal with 2 girl scout troops and drive my very active children to dance classes and what ever sport of the season they sign up for. So I'm considering going back to college and getting my masters in education. Have to finish my B.S. first .... I went back to college a...Expand for more
round 1990 but left NJIT in my senior year. Did ok as a programmer (yawn) and then tech support. But it's time to finish up and then go on. So I will finish my B.S. and then go for the Masters, and then work as a teacher. Just to see if I like it I am subbing now.
I'm still in NJ. Dying to get out my my husband likes it here. I'm fed up with it. I'd love to just pick up and move somewhere that is more like the Hunterdon County we all remember as children. Farms. Fields. Boring. I like boring.
