d my life really changed. We have 2 other nursing homes in Connecticut, which became my responsility to oversee. And my mom changed drastically. She lost her other half and I lost the mother I remembered. But she's strong and healthy and alive. She fell recently and fractured her pelvis and sacrum and at 86, it's tough despite all my experience with the elderly. She's doing well and is now home with help. Her mind is in tact and she's got a good, strong heart. I don't have many friends. It's difficult finding the time, being a businesswoman, mother of a young child, who by the way has ADHD, and a wife of an Israeli. But I'm happy and settled and stable. I had done it all, as they say, when I was young. I Learned alot to get to where I am today. I remember myself as a shy, nice person but one who didn't have much self-confidence. I think I've grown up into who I am by truly accepting those around me and myself. The rest of my story is yet to come.
