Karen's Story
Life
I am currently living in Colorado and recently retired (for the second time) from the school system. I came out here in 1974 after receiving a Master's Degree from the University of South Carolina. I raised quarter horses and rode quite a bit with different trainers. I also like to cross country ski and hike. I had a patio home built in 1999 and moved here from a small acreage that I owned since 1984 . I work out for exercise and also walk quite a bit just to stay really limber. I have had the opportunity to travel a bit. I just recently went to NYC and Philadelphia and had a great time. I also go to Florida occasionally to see one of my sisters. I've been to California, Montana, and Canada too, over the past few years. Really liked Las Vegas and Cabo! I hope to spend winters in a warm climate....and the rest of the time in Colorado. There is so much to do here.....the mountains are so enticing. Estes Park is easy to travel to from my home....just about 35 minutes away.
