Life
30+ years. wow. Doesn't seem that long. Am I really that old?!! I've always been sorry I lost contact with so many friends when I had to move the middle of my Junior year to Kansas City (awful city). I graduated from Kansas City Christian High School in Merriam, KS, lived in Kansas City, MO. Worked in Kansas City, KS to help pay for food, school, clothes. Went to Rockmont College, Denver, CO (now Colorado Christian University) for 1 semester, ended up graduating 4 years later with a BA in Psychology, minor in Theater. Got married to a wonderful man, and we just celebrated out 28th(and he's still wonderful). Went for master's at UCD in Elementary Education, emphasis special ed. I have a 22 year old son, Peter. red with the Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue, International Students Ministry, Salvation Army, Cat Care Society, Shannon's Hope (home for unwed pregnant moms with kids), several others. I've taught Special Ed for the county, group homes & more; managed a small bookstore for 4 years; taught numerous classes for rubber stamping, arts & crafts, basic beauty (my 11 yr. Avon phase), beading, papercutting, chocolate making, so many more. Just started my own creative business. myinkspired dot com Have a business on etsy that is going well - inkspired dot etsy dot com, plus do occasional art shows. Live "in the country" hah, on about 2 acres. Adore it. Love gardening. Guess that's enough for now!
