Karen's Story
I attended Miami University (BS in Education). I taught high school biology and physical science in Miami & Orlando Florida, got married in Las Vegas and moved to California in 1971, and taught in Compton, then worked for Mattel Toys and Max Factor in California, North Carolina and Connecticut. for Lion Coffee, Crazy Shirts and Hawaii Dental Service. My husband Mark and I have one daughter, Marya, born in 1989, who currently resides and works near San Diego, California. I retired from Delta Dental of Idaho in 2012 and happily resided in Gold Beach, Oregon for 6 years.. In 2018 we moved to La Quinta, CA to live closer to our daughter. I am active in Soroptimists and choir, love to golf, walk & hike and practice Bikram yoga.
