Hi!
I'm living in Glastonbury, CT now for almost 23 years after moving here from Natick, MA. I have 3 grown children and 4 granddaughters.
I just retired from school nursing at the high school in town. I feel there is a sitcom that should be made about my experiences there. Anybody who has teenagers knows- the drama, comedy, and rebellion that can be mixed in one body! My initial reason for retiring was to care for my mom; she passed away in Aug. at 93 after breaking her hip in March. Unfortunately, this is the usual scenario. Now I am into volunteering. 's still so much to do. And I am driving the elderly to appointments through the organization FISH. I do hope to do some traveling. Actually, we're going to Arizona in March. Can't wait to escape this weather for awhile, but I'd never live in another part of the country.
We just built a new "green" home in Glastonbury-just 2 streets away from our old place. It's somewhat smaller and energy efficient. I haven't gotten the gold level in Classmates, so I don't know what communication I can receive. I would love to hear from many of you? I am in contact with Linda Christenson Papa and Terry Fitzgerald. I'm also into Facebook through my kids.
