Karen's Story

I currently live in Waunakee Wisconsin, a bedroom community to Madison. I am married with one child, Alex who is 11, and two step-children, David who is 20 and in college and Kelsey who is 17 and will graduate this year. I am working part-time as an Infection Control Practitioner for a small community hospital outside of Waunakee. For fun, we have a 37 foot sailboat on Lake Michigan (in Manitowoc) that we use in the ...Expand for more
summer. When fall rolls around, we are busy being soccer parents to Alex and following Penn State Football (my husband graduated from there). I have picked up my music again and do some piano accompanying for middle schools students who participate in solo and ensemble contest. I also play my tenor sax in a concert-type band at my church led by none other that former Blue Star Sam Robinson. Talk about a small world.
