Karen's Story
I'm a divorced Mom of 2 kids (1 teen getting ready to graduate and 1 in college now! FUN!) And I moved to AZ where my mother retired to help care for her and be closer to my kids who, a few years ago moved to CA to live with their dad! I'm building my business, Karenality Graphics and continue to enjoy my computer art!
I am also a bit of a computer geek where before I moved to AZ I was living for about 1 1/2 years up in Northern IL living on a 2 acre chicken farm with 2 dogs, 7 cats, a dozen various chickens and 2 rabbits and also working on a NASA project for a local aerospace company as a technical administrator. I was writing vb code for the system engineers! I was even able to help with everification for Human Resources thru Dept. of Homeland Security! That was very exciting!
Now I'm getting ready to start work for the Federal Government again as a Customer Service Representative for the Passport Division. Only 4 1/2 mi. from where I live here in North Phoenix! yay! (Talk about saving money on gas, huh? I can ride my bike there!) (Yes! I still love to ride bikes! - and what's up with...Expand for more
the price of gas, anyway, huh?) I still have pets! I still have my little dog, Chloe (a teacup Pomeranian) and now 4 cats! and a tankful of fish!
I much preferred living up in Northern IL than out here in Phoenix, AZ or St. Louis, MO. Out here in Phoenix it is SOOO HOT AND DRY. And CA isn't that exciting, either. Well, it's a nice place to visit...but I wouldn't want to live there!
I am hoping that by living out here in Phoenix, however, that I am able to take in more Mexican food (YUM! Spicy! Caliente! Ole!) and learn more Spanish! Hablo poco Espanol!
I LOVE Unicorns and Fairies and continue to love my arts and crafts. I am increasing my love and knowledge for the metaphysical realm and continue with my Biblical studies.
Life didn't turn out exactly as expected...but I am happy.
If anything I wish that I had a bunch of land to open a No Kill shelter that would harbour not only all the dogs and cats that are in serious need of rescuing...but horses as well!
Look me up on Facebook...I'm karenality
You can send me an email from there and scope out my business, too. Hasta Luego, mi amigos!
