Karen's Story
Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. After running away from (a few) engagements I finally found someone that I couldn't bear to be apart from & we were married on Clearwater Beach Florida 7 years ago. He has his own Design & Engineering Firm & I work in the IT department for a Global Tech firm.
We Traveled a lot & did some wild stuff (If you ever get the chance to Zip Line through the rain Forest of Central America- DO IT!! Just do it!!.) Swim with the Sting Rays & Dive with Sharks- have no fear.
I was always told I shouldn't expect to be able to have my own kids-so we never did. At 38 I was pleasantly surprised with an 8 1/2 lbs daughter who arrived a few weeks early.
It has been a struggle sometimes but worth every moment. My Precoci...Expand for more
ous 3 yr old has taught me more about life & responsibility than anyone. Living Life to the fullest & making every day worth living is our only goal.
"You get one do-over. What do you do differently?" I wish I had tried harder or adopted a few years before. I was scarred that I would not be a good mother. Everything has finally fallen in place but life is still a wild ride!!
My Husband is from Seattle & we go back to visit there. I want to show Nicole where I grew up too & visit friends in the next year.
I hope everyone has gotten the most out of life with very few regrets.
If you are not living on the edge, then you are taking up TOO much room.
