Karen's Story
Life
I left Franklin High School during my senior year,'68 and graduated from Middletown High School. I moved away from the area with my husband who was then a helicopter pilot for the USArmy. I now have 3 grown children, all college graduates, who have children of their own -7 grandchildren I have to enjoy. I completed my formal education the non-traditional way, as time would allow, and now work in an area that I love. Surgery at a large medical center in Virginia.
I rarely get back to Ohio but spend a lot of time at the Beach. Spare time is spent on the golf course and enjoying my family that lives in Virginia and visiting my daughter and her family that live in Georgia. Her husband is an officer in the USArmy and she seems to be following in my footsteps. I have been married to the same wonderful man for 36 years. I still have some family in Ohio, my brother Mark lives in Carlisle. My brother Gary lives in Florida.
