Life
Greetings! Graduated college in 1985 with 6 1/2 years of credit - figured I'd never be able to afford to go back to school full time. Loved going to college! Since then I've lived lots of places and done lots of things and now I'm settled down on a farm back here in Wisconsin south of Madison about 30 miles.
Other details: married, no kids. 50 acre farm, looking toward organic, but not there yet. Planning on farming it with horse...Expand for more
s - no big suprise there! Sheep and dairy goats also part of the plan.
Update: Up to 7 horses now, 5 draft and 2 riding horses. The drafts are for the farm work, and they're the smaller type - a breed called Haflinger. Used to have a couple of big, white Percherons, but they were just too darn big. Did a couple of Farmer's markets in the summer of 2005. Probably going to look into a CSA in the next year or two.
