Karen Bearden:  

After graduating from Reagan High School in austin, i worked at IRS and married. After 2 years, we started our family and i left IRS to be a stay at home mom. I started a daycare in my home and after 10 years (and both children in school) I went back out to work for Southwestern Bell (AT&T) and retired in July 2003. I have 2 children, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. My first husband of 34 yrs.(Robert Moore) passed away. I have remarried and now have 2 wonderful stepsons, and 2 more grandchildren. We built our retirement home in 2007 in Canyon Lake,Texas. We purchased a pontoon boat so we would have enough room for all of our children and friends. We made lots of trips to Austin & Waco to attend & support our grandchildren's sports & activities as well as all of their b-days ! We now understand why retired people always said they didn't know how they ever had time to do anything when they worked. I have always enjoyed working on all of our class reunion committee's since our first one. We are currently working on our 50th reunion! I always look forward to seeing everyone.
