Karen's Story
Nothing much has changed for me since I wrote the bio below. I don't travel quite as much and our business has grown. I now have six grandchildren, the oldest just graduated high school and I will have a grandchild graduating high school every year for four more years. My youngest grandchild is almost seven years old. Still have the Queensland Heeler and now a large wolf/malmute mix and a small terrier mix dog annd an office cat. My husband and I enjoy rides on his motorcycle, he has a Honda Goldwing 1800 with a custom sidecar that he carries our dogs in.
Life
I'm married. My husband and I just celebrated our tenth anniversary. Believe it or not we met through a singles newspaper. We were married in Calgary, Canada three months after we met. I have two children, Donnie age 29 and Crysta...Expand for more
l age 23. I have 2 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren ages from 5 to 10 yrs, and one on the way!
I attended Bakersfield College. I am a Certified Nuclear Medical Technician, but haven't worked in the medical field for many years. My husband and I have a metrology business (that's precision measurements) and we travel some to jobs, mostly at airports. He does the real technical stuff and I do the clerical and run the office, try and keep track of his spending, etc.!
We have a large white timber wolf who is the BEST pet in the world. We also have a mutt who is part Queensland Heeler with blue eyes. Although she's about 1/3 the size of the big guy, she's the mean one. Both of them go to work with us and just about every where else too.
