Karen's Story

Life. Subsequent to the info posted below, I retired two months ago. I am happily resettling in my cozy new home in Tempe, AZ., having been blessed with many adorable little grandchildren and great gands during the past five years. Loving this new life, and looking forward to new adventures as a retiree. I am back in Riverside and enjoying some "bonus" years living down the street from my parents, now almost 91 and 87. I am really enjoying being back. I have a great job with the County as a social worker, and love the charm of living back in the "Wood streets" hood. Arizona w...Expand for more
as where I had been hanging my sun-hat before this for the previous 17 years, after nearly 20 years living in 4 different Canadian provinces, and rearing 5 great kids--the last one just graduated from college, and he's now headed off to graduate school. I am reveling in the return to my roots and spending time with my parents while I still can. I love playing cards with the family. Any of you out there wishing for a mean hand and foot game? I'd love to hear updates from any of my old friends or new-friend wannabes about what life has brought your way in these many years.
