Karen's Story
Life
After High school I went to Ricks college in Idaho and graduated with an AA. Spent a summer with a roommate in New York and was able to see the city taking in the statue of libery and the empire state building among other things. We then went to DC and enjoyed the sites there. In 1980 I served a mission for my church in Hawaii for 18 months then went to BYU in Provo, Utah. I stayed there taking classes here and there, working, and finishing up at beauty school. I laugh because I only have one more year left to get my BA. Someday. I married Stan Newton in 1985 and we now have 9 kids. Keri-23 and a graduate of BYU Hawaii. Has a job working as a secretary for a doctor and is Married to Kris Bianchini from this area. Kyle-22- Returned from his mission to Hong Kong, China July of 08 and is engaged to be married to a Holly Song from here. She is a beautiful asian girl that speaks cantaneses too. d possibly teach at the MTC. Keith- 19- left on his mission September 20 to St. Louis, Missouri. He is very excited to serve out there and is in a small town called Fulton. He is riding his bike all over to get to where he needs to be. Kalena-17, Junior. Does water polo in fall and swim and dive in spring. She had a job as life guard this summer and plans on doing it again. Karisa- 14, Freshman. Was on the water polo team with her sister and is quite the aggressive player. She will be good once whe has the skills down. She also is swimming this spring. Kamra-12, in sixth grade. She ran the mile in 7.5 minutes. Not bad for her age. Kimball-10, in fourth grade. Kumorah-8, in second grade. Krystol-5, my little pill. Life is interresting. I bike with my kids to school. I have a dog, two cats, and I raise Parakeets and cockateils. I have just picked up horse riding from a friend of mine who is a blue ribbon jumper in her day. I clean stalls and padocks and get the horses ready to ride. Pretty interresting stuff, but enjoyable.
