My Spouse
I met Redmond in Portsmouth when I worked at a music store in 1991. I was a piano salesperson and he was the cut-up musician with the blond ponytail in the sheet music department. He kept me in stitches- and I am still laughing 10 years later!
My Pets
Madison- 23.5 lb black cat- large and in charge. Enjoys eating and acting like a dog.
Bridger- Pensive gray kitty with extra toes (polydactyl) and sibling to Madison- likes sleeping under the covers.

My Job
I am a reference librarian for Agriculture and Life Sciences at North Carolina State University. I develop and teach bibliographic instructional courses (basically teaching students how to do research) and create subject guides for the World Wide Web. I also select resources in my subject areas, which focus on Plant Sciences. The weirdest part of my job? Hearing undergraduates *and* graduate students call me ma'am... It never ceases to unnerve me!
