Karen's Story
I am 55yrs old. Married for 21yrs and very much in Love with my husband. I am grateful every day. I strongly believe in prayers. GOD is the core of my life.
My husband and I are strong workers but he got very ill and now is on disability. The positive thing about this is when you grow up with very little and learn about struggling, the impact of losing your jobs etc, and illness doesn't blow you away. It makes us stronger. the end of the day. I am GRATEFUL for the Love that I have in my life and the strength GOD has given us.
We as humans are not guaranteed a "Perfect, happy, healthy life every day". We do the best we can with what we have and learn to be happy with what we have.
Material things are not important at all to me in this life.
Being good to others and giving back is my goal.
A moral balance is important. And at the end of the day I can say I did the best I could for today.
