Karen's Story
Life
I have been in Maine for the last 20+ yrs and love it here. I have worked as an RN in a variety of jobs. Presently I work per diem at Mercy Hospital in Portland 3 days/week. I have a wonderful husband and step daughter; 1 Labrador Retreiver, 1 GoldenDoodle, 1 cat and a 2 horses. I am trying to talk my husband in to a few chickens...but he's not there yet!!
I am gone trail riding with friends most weekends. I love to knit, read, scrapbook and garden...Expand for more
. I am passionate about my home and family and church. We attend the Vineyard ( a contemporary non denominational church) I am on the worship team there, playing keyboard.
I get back to Illinois about once a year. My parents and sister are still there. It will be home in my heart always.
It is fall here in Maine and the best time of year to be here.
