Life The facts more or less: Roger Murphy and I were married in 1971. We both graduated from Auburn University; he went on to graduate in 1982 from veterinary school at Auburn after a stint in the Air Force. We lived in several states while in the Air Force and before settling down in Lexington, Kentucky. I attended graduate school at Auburn and had our first child, a son, Jonathan, in 1977. I had our daughter, Jessica,in 1983 in Lexington. I decided to go to law school at the University of Kentucky and graduated in 1989. I feel as though it was sort of an accomplishment since very few married women with children made it through! We had a lot of fun in Lexington, owned some racehorses and enjoyed life. I worked for a litigation law firm for several years and then ended up working for the state in the general counsel's office of the Cabinet for Families and Children in Frankfort, Kentucky.
