Karen's Story
Karen and Carol Bechtold (the Strawberry blonde twins) from the class of 62'. Carol spent four years in dental college (Loma Linda) after high school while I spent a year and half at Fullerton Jr. College majoring in Cosmetology. I married, had two sons and worked in hair styling in the LaHabra-Whittier area while Carol perused her career in dental hygiene. She married an Oregonian and made her home in Salem Oregon and raised a daughter while continuing her denistry. As life would have it, both Carol & I divorced, we are remarried, have grown children, step children and several grandchildren each. We make Salem our home...Expand for more

Life flows along, hair turns silver even when you where given gold at birth. Seasons seem to be hotter while we see 30• degrees in Salem Oregon more often. Our family members move on with their lives, finish college, search out a productive source of income, fall in love with their special someone, maybe marry and provide us with what we long for "Grandkids". Sometimes Grand dogs! Our life has simplified, it is easy to sleep in, watch the lawn grow, and listen to the birds sing. Here's hoping all you too are enjoying life
