Karen's Story
Life
I have been married for thirty years. I have 4 children, two sets of twins. This year (2007) my children will be 31 and 29 years old. The oldest set are females. The youngest set are male and female. I have 10 grandchildren ranging in age from 10 to 1. I have 4 granddaughters and 6 grandsons. I am a members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. I am the Coordinator of Student Support Services in the Office of Academic Enrichment. I work with academic probation students, students who did not complete the academic year with satisfactory progress, meaning they did not complete 24 credits for the year and any student who needs assistance or advice.I also work with the Bridge Program. This program provisionally admits students who may not quite meet the criteria to be a regular admit student.
