Karen (Exler) Karch, Reunion Organizer for January & June 1961 from Calumet High School, Chicago, Illinois: I have been married for 30 years to Jack, a retired U.S. Army man and have one daughter, Kari Anne, born on the 4th of July 1975 at Ft.Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. We lived in Austria and Germany for 4 years, the most wonderful and exciting 4 years of my life. I got to travel to 12 different countries, including Spain and Greece. I also, learned how to speak German when living in Austria. URY & JUNE 1961:
It is the 30th of August of 2009 and I am starting to work on OUR CALUMET JANUARY & JUNE 1961 CLASS REUNION for the 23rd, 24th & the 25th of September of 2011!! I have already signed the contract for the Holiday Inn in Willowbrook, Il., on I 55 & RT 83 (Kingery Hwy.)and I definitely, have to get 150 people to meet the requirements of the Holiday Inn. for Saturday night, the 24th of September of 2011. We will do a "Meet & Greet Pizza Party" on Friday night, the Big Banquet on Saturday night and the "Good-Bye Breakfast" on Sunday morning. I am hoping that my classmates here on Classmates.com will please e-mail me with any of our classmates addresses and telehphone numbers, etc., that they have. There are still about 300 classmates from both January and June classes that have not been found yet and I would so appreciate your help in finding somemore. Looking forward to hearing from you and most of all, seeing you at our big 50th CLASS REUNION IN 2011!!
