Karen's Story

Life o'k this is a bio for Tick and Karen Featherstone. Tick has retired and is pursing his life's dream of restoring classic cars. Going to car shows with our 56 chevy Nomad that He's had for 26 years. Riding our motorcycle every chance we get. We live in Texas. Tick came here by the way of Australia (boy did he take a wrong turn leaving Ca.) He moved there lock stock and old car's in 2 continers with his late wife Kay. It was an experience! Some good, others not so good. Kay became very ill while living there so back to the good ole US of A. Unfortunatley it was to late. 1 year later Kay passed away from cancer. Her dream was to move to Tx. to be near her kids. So that's how they end...Expand for more
ed up in Waco Tx. Ok. I'm the new wife Karen. Tick & I met at a car show.(I'm also a car nut). We married in 2002 and have a great life doing what we enjoy. cars and bikes. Tick daughter moved here last year. Between the 2 of us we have 6 kids and 7 grandkids. I say our family is his, hers(kay) and mine. We enjoy a busy life with the family and many friends. We're busy building me a car. Tick always wanted a 49 ford woodie wagon and last year we found her. He made a bonzai run to Portland pulled her out of a junk yard and now she in pieces in our shop. Hopefully in a couple of years she'll be better than original. So if you ever in Waco look us up. We're in the book. Tick and Karen

Well this was a BD never to forget. Dinner and then Waco Escapes.
You get locked in a room and have to solve the clues to get out in set time.
Noooo we didn't figure it out. But it was a blast. My thanks to Tick, Tina an

This is the result of reaching into Gardenia bush with clippers. Little hornets attack you. Glad I'd taken my rings off. Guess I won't be wearing them for a few days. Both hands really swollen.
