Karen's Story

Life I live in Charlotte (Huntersville) NC, and work for Wachovia bank, formerly First Union. I manage their credit loan products and have been here for 7 years. Prior to this, I was in Greensboro for 26 years, and worked with American Express for 13 years. I have 2 children, Alan and Andrea (born 88 and 89). Elk where I have my future retirement home (retirement will never come!). In addition to work, I am also a potter, and have my studio set in the mountains in Banner Elk. My work can be found throughout that area in local galleries. My sister, Marsha, who also graduated from Millbrook, lives about a mile down the dirt road from me with her family.
