Karen's Story
I live in Redding. I have a 20 year old daughter, Kailey, from my first marriage. She is a huge inspiration to me, and I think her Dad & I raised her well, despite becoming divorced when she was 5.
I recently married my best friend, Andrew, on 02/14/08~~ after being together nearly 15 years!! Life is great, even though I just lost my beloved Mother on 03/28/08.
I love my family and old HS friends, and I feel blessed to keep in touch with Darsi, Traci, Pega, Suze, Joannie...
My moto now, as I approach life coming upon a half of a century in age is: Live, Laugh & Love.
I am realizing as life becomes shorter, my perspective becomes clearer. If you would like to see my BLOG, let me know.

Although I am in insurance sales as a regular job, I am finally enjoying some writing on the side. Thus my BLOG. I have been told I should have taken journalism and writing more seriously years ago to fulfill my dreams now.
But,no regrets... I am trying not to dwell on the past in negative ways, but to learn from mistakes and life in general; to embellish my future, and enjoy!
One last note: my husband and I love our two little dogs! We believe in pet adoption from high-kill shelters. If I had access to endless money, my mission would be to house and care for all the the animals who have been abused or neglected.
That's more story, and I'm sticken' to it!
