Karen's Story
I have been married for 37 years to Mike who works for Dow Chemical, I have 3 adult children and am active at my church where I sing on the praise team. I work in the Federal Bldg in Chas. for the Dept of Justice.
My daughter, Ashley (grad from Marshall w a biology degree), is married to Dave Wilson, the love of her life who took her to CA. They have twin daugters, Avery & Olivia, who will turn 5 in Oct 09 and a new baby girl, Emery Claire, who was born May 2011.. They are the most awesome creatures on the earth.
My son, Evan, married a beautiful woman in 2004 named Rose Pena who has 2 children. He graduated from NIT and works for CTDI installing switching equipment. They live 2/10ths of a mile from us and we hang out with them most weekends. He also plays the bass guitar on our church's praise band.

d worked as a writer for the Daily Mail for a yr, then quit to sell medical supplies for a yr and is now going back to school to become an RN. He is dating a beautiful girl named Shari Wright who is a Sgt in the Army Reserves.
I have a full life with family and friends, my folks are still active, although slowing down somewhat and still live in the Davis Creek area.
My relationship with the Lord is extremely important to me. I strive every day to be the person He put me here to be. In my free time I read, I love shopping and taught my daughter the same :), and I love to garden. I cook huge meals and share them with people at my church and at work. I am the designated baker of birthday fare. I enjoy my life and wouldn't change it for anything.
I hope I am remembered for my sense of humor and love of singing. If this is not the case, please refrain from telling me!
