Karen's Story
Life
My husband David is a fun and very caring man and my best friend. He has two girls, and I two boys. We put them all together in 2003 and now have 7th, 8th, 9th and 11th grade kids - all teens. WOW! We enjoy learning more about our faith together (UMC) and Love and Logic in raising our children. We love to travel when our kids are away (I miss them a lot). Our favorite time to travel is the fourth of July - we've been to all the major cities in Texas for fireworks as well as Key West. I think we'll hit california next year. he same school for 8 years - it's like a second family and a wonderful place to work. My parents and sister and her family (as well as my husband's parents and his brother) all live in the Dallas area. Our family gatherings are a lot of fun with everyone so near! God has been good to us in sooo many ways. One major blessing is our parents are in very good health. I try to take each day as it comes, learn from the past without dwelling on it and every day strive to be more the kind of person God wants me to be. I hope all is well in San Antonio with my Madison friends. I miss the city very much and wish everyone many blessings and the very best in life.
