Karen's Story
Life
Hello, in high school you knew me as Karen Mitchell. I was very interested in art and did the cover for the Class of '78 graduation program. I now have two wonderful children, my daughter is 18 and graduating this year, 25 years after I did! My son is 16, and becoming quite an artist himself.
I am now a professional artist with an on line art gallery - Musickscapes Art Gallery. I've shown in New York City, a dream come true. My current work bares little resemblance to the mountain...Expand for more

Becoming disabled by a dibilitating pain disease, I turned to art as a sorce of comfort and understanding. The results: surrealistic landscapes of my mind which I call Musickscapes.
I have recently participated in two shows Eastman Gallery with rave reviews about my work.
I am divorced, and moved home where my family can better care for me. It is strange being back in the house I grew up in. It certainly has brought back memories of Memorial.
