Karen's Story
Life
In '87 I moved to Santa Barbara & fell in love with the area. It is a hard place to leave, but in '98 I moved to Germany. Returned in 2000, got married in '02 & had 3 children by '04. I guess I should rephrase that to say, "I had 3 children in 2004". On December 10th we welcomed triplets (Charlotte, Patrick & Dawson) to our family. n't stopped ever since. It's quite chaotic, but wonderful. It's been a wild ride so far. Previously our only responsibility was making sure we remembered to feed our cat. How quickly our carefree lives have changed. We are grateful to have both sets of grandparents in town, but are waiting for the novelty to wear off. It baffles us, but they keep coming back for more, so we are able to maintain a somewhat normal life. Needless to say, we've become expert multitaskers and are functioning on very little sleep.
