YES, THAT WAS FUN TIME!!! I MET LOTS OF GREAT PEOPLE AND HAD SOME GOOD EXPERIENCES. MY FAVORITE TEACHER WAS MR. HART. BETWEEN HS AND COLLEGE, IT WAS JUST SURVIVAL BUT IT ALL ROADS EVENTUALLY LEAD ME INTO A WONDERFUL CAREER IN HEALTH CARE.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. And who would have thought I would end up working in the Emergency Departments--blood, guts and gore~! WOW! But the value of the reward was helping thousands of patients and families over the years---and famous people, too!
I ended up in Healthcare for over 35 years and "retired" from UCSD Medical Center in 2005 to start new careers as a bail and fugitive recovery agent; a senior mentor for CalWork...Expand for more
s clients under Medi-Cal, County and State of California, did a little waitressing at Tyler's of Texas, and for the last 3 years, I have been at United Behavioral Health, OptumHealth Public Sector, the ASO for the County of SD. So I still remain busy, busy!
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Bruce Marlin and Jane Marlin, because he was a terrific friend and I would like to know what he did with his life and I wonder about Jane too! I still keep in touch from time to time with some of my other classmates. The other person I think about is Sandy Bronson-Bridges--I hope she has had a good life as well!
I am a NASCAR fanatic! I live and breathe NASCAR! I collect, follow every TV show and go to races ----and love to meet the drivers. That is my passion...
