I spent a couple of semesters at YVC where I met my husband and we moved out of state for him to attend college. We moved back to the NW where we both worked and lived for almost 20 years We had 4 sons,(one set of twins). Finally,we both grew tired of wet feet and snowy winters and came to The Great State Texas in 1989. Threw away the snow shovels,the boots and heavy coats! At one time in our lives, we had 3 kids in college at the same time. What a financial drain! I worked at the public elementary and high schools managing the kitchen. I was known as "The Lunch Lady"! That's right..The Lunch Lady. Moved to the Preschool setting later on. Gotta love the 3 year olds! In 1997,our oldest son, Dylan, was killed in a Golden Gloves boxing tournament. He was 19 years old and attending Southwestern University. We will never recover from this loss.
